This is a quick moment.
I wanted to cartwheel all day and if I had not been walking the busy streets of New York City I would’ve. I so would’ve god damn it.
We don’t have enough fun and sometimes take life to seriously, so if you want to cartwheel or dance. Then do it.
This is in play format.
"iCartwheel (a monologue)" by Celestial Zenith
Here it is folks. The first of what will be many moments interpreted by …well me. This one I decided to format into a short screenplay format.
I was getting on the 1 train at 28th St., I take this train every day to and from work. It was just after rush hour and I got on the cart at the far end, since usually there is less people in those carts.
As I enter the train, headphones on jamming, immediately what catches my eye is this boy. This young boy playing on his phone and sprawled across three benches. He had his legs propped up against the pole in between the other set of benches. He looked rough, he looked serious, he looked like he was less then ten years old. I gave him a wide birth and sat on the opposite side of the train, I glanced over a few times and saw everyone doing the same as me.
It made me pretty sad. So, the following is my interpretation of what he saw against what the rest of the world saw.
